Is has been eight years since there has been an event like the DPD Open in Holland. Back then it was the World Open Squash in Rotterdam.
The world’s greatest players – including reigning World Champions Ali Farag and Nour El Sherbini – will line up at the new DPD Hub in Oirschot to compete for a prize purse of $212,000, which is split equally between the men’s and women’s events.
The DPD Open will be staged at the new headquarters of DPD Nederland in Oirschot. The DPD HUB is located at Westfields 1410 (zip code: 5688 HA) and will replace the current parcel centre of DPD. In the new HUB, DPD can sort 50.000 parcels per hour and 750.000 parcels per day to be ready for the future. DPD will be in full operation during the DPD Open. This will give spectators a great insight in the business of parcel delivery.
